This style of clickbait headline feels very out of place on HN

I'd recommend AudioScienceReview for anyone looking for measurements-based evaluations of audio equipment instead of the weird and wrongly incentivized audio review ecosystem.

Yup. Measurements are king.

And an objectively good setup is not expensive.

A cheap pair of Sennheiser HD600 for headphones will last effectively forever and sound great paired with a very competitively priced Topping DX3Pro+ for external soundcard/amplifier.

It's really hard to estimate the amount of time. Even spending 40hr on it wouldn't be worth it from a purely financial perspective even if you ignore ads and other costs, and I spent many times that in terms of time.

But at the same time, doing this helped me reach over $6k MRR this year. Could I have gotten out of the tar pit faster? Definitely.

What would you say is the most actionable insight you'll take into your next project, to make a profit sooner?

I think micro-SaaS is starting to catch on https://www.google.com/search?q=micro-saas

For https://poach.vc/ and https://data.poach.vc/ I just emailed and LinkedIn DM-ed a ton of people. Since the newsletter features founders and investors, I also tag them each issue on Twitter, which is a small but evergreen source of exposure.

Yeah, it's a really tough sell.

That's really great! So many nice touches, like how it shows the side of the street and the overall direction of transit!

You mean the "following" tab, right?

Lol you’re right, I must have not had enough coffee at that point in the day.

Oh shoot I flipped it!! Darnit, thanks for pointing that out. I also meant the following tab on my post!

It looks like Michael Arrington agrees https://x.com/arrington/status/1812902866899902857
