RHEL saying '8' or '9' is supported for 10 years is misleading af. Each 'minor version' (which are, in fact, sometimes large changes!) is supported for it's own specific time period. Yep, the "10 year support" for 8.8 means that you'll upgrade to 8.10 (to-be-released) and then that will be supported for the rest of the duration.
