Back when my parents were alive, I would occasionally drive over to visit them from two states away. I would often call ahead to order from a favorite pizzaria there a few minutes before I drove into town. I needed to remember the long stretch of cellular dead zone I had to drive through, and pull over to call just after leaving it, in order to time it just right.
